We are truly grateful for our freedom in this country. The greatest blessing is to worship freely and proclaim our faith. We did nothing to be born in this country. God's grace is completely amazing.

Fourth of July!
What a wonderful day we had celebrating Independence Day. Of course our little ones do not understand our freedom yet but we are teaching them. Long was off today (a rare blessing) and we had sweet family time. First, we headed to one of our favorite places to eat, Mellow Mushroom. And then off to Costco and home for naps. When the boys woke up we prepared a wonderful meal for our celebration. Mark and Claudine, two doctors in Long's class came over to hang with us. They are so great with our children and the boys love when they visit. Long and Owen made a quick run to the fireworks stand and they experienced sparklers for the first time. One of the sweetest things about being a mother is watching my children experience things for the first time. I know it sounds very cliche but is so true and warms my heart. I love their expressions and excitment when something amazes them.
We are truly grateful for our freedom in this country. The greatest blessing is to worship freely and proclaim our faith. We did nothing to be born in this country. God's grace is completely amazing.
