God Wants us to Share

This week we learned that God wants us to share. After Jesus went to Heaven the early church sold all they had and gave the money to those in need. We are striving to be more like Jesus everyday, giving to those less fortunate than we are. One of the wonderful experiences of our adoption is teaching our children to love the "least of these" as well. We talk to them all the time about the orphans that do not have a mommy or daddy as well as children who lack clothing, food and a home. There are countless children in shelters and of course the foster care system. We want them to really understand how Christ wants us to live. We don't want to just teach them about those in need, but to SHOW them. God is revealing new and unique ways for us to show our children and teach them to respond with love the way Jesus would. But, for our lesson this week we made a few crafts and talked about how God wants us to share.
