Long's parents came for a visit and immediately my mom and Jerry came for one night. The boys had a great time with both sets of grandparents. Long's parents took them to Target and Toys R Us. We also went out to dinner and our usual trip to Costco. The special times were the ones hanging out at the house, playing with them and giving baths. The first day they came we went to the North Carolina Transportation Museum. The boys rode the train and had a great time. After the 25 minute train ride we headed to the gift shop where they each got a Thomas the Train whistle. Owen has been asking for this toy and was so thrilled. It took them a little time to master the skill of whistling but both of them finally got the hang of it.
Owen and Noah opened Christmas presents from my mom and Jerry. My mom wrote a cute clue on each nametag instead of using names to identify the receiver. She is so creative! We had such a great time with them. Long and I are so thankful we have parents that love our children and treat them so special.
